QUICK UPDATE:
29 NOVEMBER: Charlotte Goes to Raffles Hospital again and she's 5 month's Old This week.. and just had her 3rd 5-in-1 Vaccination Jab.. Amazingly she didn't cry! Charlotte has her Rotavirus oral vaccine today as well.

27 SEPTEMBER : Charlotte Goes to the docs and she's 3 month's Old today..Currently looking out for signs of fever due to 5-in-1 vaccination.

23 AUGUST : Charlotte Goes to Vivo City...and she's 2 month's Old today..

28 JULY : Charlotte went to see Dr. Tan for her medical check-up and got the second HBV vaccine jab .. Charlotte is now 4.3Kg and 53.5cm tall!

25 JULY : Charlotte celebrated her Full Month!

24 JULY : Charlotte's somewhat adapted to our "Time zone" and began sleeping more at night and staying awake more during the day.

29 Nov 08: Today we introduced Charlotte to her first solid food! We gave Charlotte Heinz rice cereal mixed with EBM and she loved it.

Charlotte was baptized in the church of the Holy Spirit.
For Catholics, the Sacrament of Baptism is the first step in a lifelong journey of commitment and discipleship. Whether we are baptized as infants or adults, Baptism is the Church's way of celebrating and enacting the embrace of God.

Charlotte's goes for PD Assessment

Today Charlotte's 3 month old and was scheduled for a visit to Dr. Tan at Raffles Hospital.

Here are the stats:
Charlotte's weighing 5.9kg and 60cm in length right smack in the middle 50% percentile average.. so all is well.
She also had her 5-in-1 vaccination jab including Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Poliomeyelitis and Haemophilis Influenza B.

As expected Charlotte gave her well known 200db cry that sends shock waves across the room...but that was short lived and she soon was smiling away. Now we are monitoring her temperature for signs of fever.. so far she's doing 37.7 max...

Later today we went to visit cousin Matthew Na who was born on the early morning of 25th.

The word "catholic" means universal. Jesus created one universal church for all of mankind. The Catholic Church was established by Jesus with his words spoken in Matthew 16. Jesus asked his disciples "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?" The disciples then offered various answers - "Some say John the Baptist, others Elijah, still others Jeremiah or one of the prophets." But the question that Jesus then asked was crucial: "But who do you say that I am?"

The answer provided by Simon Peter set in motion the formation of the Catholic Church by Jesus. "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God." With this answer, Jesus established the Catholic Church with Simon Peter designated the first Pope.

"Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah. For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my heavenly Father. And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Charlotte is finally 1 month old! We've ordered the traditional "red-eggs" and cakes gift boxes and also cupcakes for friends and family.

Wooo... that is the reddest egg I have ever seen in one month...

Do you know that in Chinese culture, a baby's first month birthday calls for a celebration. Proud parents introduce their latest addition to friends and relatives by holding a red egg and ginger party. Traditionally, the baby's name is also announced at this time.
Guests attending red egg and ginger parties bring gifts. Lysee or "lucky money" in red envelopes is often given to baby boys, while girls may receive expensive jewelry. The guests don't leave empty handed, either. The parents hand out red-dyed eggs, symbolizing happiness and the renewal of life.
Red egg and ginger parties have their origins in ancient Chinese culture. As in other countries, infant mortality rates in China were quite high prior to the medical advances of the twentieth century. A baby who reached one month of age was likely to survive, and so the event was celebrated.

The Princess has arrived on the 25th June @ 1834 Hrs

Charlotte princess has arrived on the 25th June at 1834hrs.

Charlotte's EDD was on the 30th June, however we've noticed a reduction of fetal movement by 50% on the evening of 24 June. So we rushed to the hospital for a CTG (Cardiotocography) at 9pm. The Doctor recommended inducing the labor. A prostaglandin pill was inserted at 12 midnight, however after waiting for about 18 hours the CTG shows that the baby was "sleepy", FHR showed 140bpm with reduced variability over the period of time . This may be indicative of fetal distress... So Doctor ordered an Emergency Cesarean and wheeled mummy into the OT at 6pm.

Charlotte princess was delivered at 6.34pm! A 3.225kg (7.1lbs) Girl!

Welcome to Charlotte's Blog....

My name is Charlotte, and I am into my 37th week gestation.. I am yet to be introduced to the world.

Mum and dad have already prepared my nursery and it's brand new as we've just moved into a new house.

This new development is inspired by the Greek resort island of Mykonos.

Here's a sneak peak into my nursery... Dad and Mum are putting in more things but the essentials are already there...
